MANILA (10 May 2013) – Two goals from Phil Younghusband led Loyola Meralco Sparks to a 4-2 win over Pasargad FC in a United Football League (UFL) match that was played at the Emperador Stadium in Taguig.
Byeong Yeong Jeol had opened account with the opener in the 13th minute before Pasargad drew level off Emmanuel Mbata with a rifling shot on 22 minutes for the score to stand at 1-1 at the start of the second half.
Younghusband then jumped into the fray with his first goal of the afternoon just two minutes after the restart as Matt Hartmann then added the third goal for Loyola right at the hour mark.
Younghusband then grabbed his second and Loyola’s fourth with a penalty conversion nine minutes to the end before Younousse Yaogo scored Pasargad’s second goal in injury time.
