YANGON (22 Feb 2015) – Former champions Yangon United still lead the standings in the Myanmar National League 2015 following their close 3-2 win over Magwe FC.
Having to play catch up did not throw Yangon into despair when they fell behind to a Htoo Htoo Aung’s lead after 20 minutes.
International Kyaw Ko Ko put both teams on level teams just six minutes later as Cezar then put Yangon in front in the 39th minute.
With the score at 2-1 to Yangon’s advantage, Magwe grabbed the equalizer in the 79th minute through Soe Min Naing.
But that did little to throw Yangon into disarray as Than Htet Aung delivered the all-important equalizer right at the death.
