YANGON (17 June 2013) – It was an afternoon that Southern Myanmar would rather forget when they were humiliated 4-0 at home by defending champions Yangon United in the Myanmar National League on the weekend.
The win for Yangon United, who has been working hard to inject more consistency into their game, gave them the top spot in the standings where they have picked up 26 points from 13 matches.
Elsewhere, Zeyar Shwe Myay were held to a 1-1 draw by Kanbawza while Yadanarbon beat Nay Pyi Taw 2-0 as Magwe edged Rakhine United 2-1.
