YANGON (2 Oct 2015) – Yadanarbon FC are close to finishing second in the Myanmar National League (MNL) 2015 where their easy 4-1 win over Ayeyawady FC this week ensured them their 12th win of the season from 28 matches played.
With runaway leaders Yangon United already guaranteeing their fourth MNL crown, the second spot is a tough fight between Yadanarbon and Magwe FC.
But the win this week off goals from Maximin (5th minute), Nah Keith (31st), Aung Thu (49th) and Yeon Gisung (75th) allowed Yadarnabon to open up a six point lead over Magwe.
Ayeyawady’s only goal of the game came off Sim in the 67th minute.
In the meantime, Hantharwady United beat Manaw Myay 2-1 with Ousmanou finding the back of the net in the tenth minute and Aung Myo Thura in the 45th minute.
Aung Myint Tun scored the only goal of the game in the 26th minute.
