BANGKOK (27 Feb, 2008) – C.A.S. The T – Rexor are well on their way of taking the title in the women’s division of the Thai Futsal League 2007-2008 following their eight point lead at the top of the table with just three more games to go to the end of the season.
Their latest win – a comprehensive 17-1 beating of Bangkok – gave T-Rexor 31 points from 11 matches as Chonburi Bluewave remained on second (23 points from 10 games) and Banglen PTT Dynamic on third (22 points from 10 games). T-Rexor were hardly challenged in their last league match as they romped to an 8-0 lead at the break before turning up the heat in the second half for the well-deserved victory. Two players stood out in the one-sided tie as Jiraprapa Tubsuree and Orathai Srimanee scored four goals each. In the meantime, Chonburi Bluewave kept up the pressure on the leaders with a 7-2 beating of Suvarnabhumi–Krungkaon while Banglen also notched the same score line against a hapless Nonthaburi side.
