HANOI (17 March 2010) – Vietnam Coal and Mineral took advantage to lead the standings in the Vietnam Women’s Football Championship following the faltering results of their opponents.
Hanoi Trang An I had the best chance to take over the top spot on goal difference but they missed the chance to stamp their authority when they were held to a goalless draw by Ho Chi Minh City in their last match. With one win and one draw, Hanoi Trang An I only managed to pick up four points to be on second behind leaders Vietnam Coal and Mineral while Ho Chi Minh City are still at the bottom of the table with only one point after two games. Vietnam Coal and Mineral scored two wins out of two following their latest 1-0 win over Phong Phu Ha Nam with the only goal of the game coming off Vu Thi Lanh. CURRENT STANDINGS 1.
