HANOI (30 May 2013) – For making the final round of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2014, the Vietnam women’s football team has been rewarded with a bounty of USD 47,600 (VND1 billion).
The money was dispensed by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Eximbank for the team that will play in the final round of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup in May next year.
The team won Group C in the qualifying round of the AFC Women Asian Cup’s in Bahrain when they beat the hosts 8-0, thrashed Kyrgyzstan 12-0 and then thumping Hong Kong 4-0.
