HANOI (1 March 2013) – Vietnam’s Women Football Championship 2013 received a boost this week when the Thai Son Bac Electric Equipment Trading Company came forward as the main sponsor.
The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) announced that the tournament this year will kick off in the northern province of Ha Nam on 8 March with six teams taking part.
As usual, the championship will be held over two legs – with the first taking place on 8-26 March while the second round of matches on 9-22 July.
The winning team will walk away with VND200 million (USD 9,300) while the second and third-placed teams getting VND150 million (USD 6,975) and VND100 million (USD 4,650) respectively.
