HANOI (1 May 2011) – With nearest challenge Phong Phu Ha Nam only managing a scoreless in their last game, it has allowed Hanoi Trang An I to finish the first round of the Vietnam National Women’s Championship 2011 at the top of the standings.
Hosts Phong Phu Ha Nam were held to a goalless draw by Vietnam Coal Mineral at the Ha Nam stadium.
After the first round of five matches, Hanoi Trang An I are in the lead with ten points while Phong Phu Ha Nam are on second on lesser gaol difference.
Defending champions Ho Chi Minh City are placed third to be followed by Vietnam Coal and Mineral, Hanoi Trang An II and Thai Nguyen.
The second round of the Vietnam National Women’s Championship 2011 will resume in early July.
