WOMEN’S FOOTBALL: HANOI TRANG AN DELIVER FIRST DEFEAT FOR VIETNAM COAL AND MINERAL

HANOI (21 March 2010) – Hanoi Trang An I delivered the first defeat of the season for Vietnam Coal and Mineral with a 3-2 victory in the third match day of the Vietnam Women’s Football Championship.

A late strike from Minh Nguyet in the last seven minute of play allowed Hanoi Trang An to pick up the full points and also the place at the top of the standings.

Ngoc Anh and Minh Nguyet were on target for Hanoi Trang An I for them to take an inspiring 2-0 lead in the first half.

But Vietnam Coal and Mineral fought back through Nguyen Thi Hanh and Le Thi Hien for the score to stand at 2-2 – until the winner from Minh Nguyet.

With seven points, Hanoi Trang An I move to the top of the table while Vietnam Coal and Mineral and Phong Phu Ha Nam are on second and third respectively.
