HANOI (26 June 2013) – Hanoi 1 were crowned the VFF National Women’s Football Championship when they beat hosts Phong Phu Ha Nam 2-0 in the final game of the season this week.
Ho Chi Minh City took the runners-up spot after beating Vietnam Coals and Minerals 1-0 as Ha Nam finished third.
Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet of Hanoi 1 was voted the best player of the season while Dang Thi Kieu Trinh, the best goalkeeper and Huynh Nhu, the best striker.
