HO CHI MINH CITY (1 March 2014) – Hanoi One took firm control of the Vietnam Women’s League when they thrashed Thai Nguyen 3-0 at the Thong Nhat Stadium.
It was the second win for the defending champions in two matches after disposing of Hanoi Two 4-1 last week. Nguyen Thi Muon found the back of the net twice (in the eighth and 59th minute) and another from Nguyen Thi Hoa (45th minute) for the final scoreline.
Elsewhere, Vietnam Coal and Mineral rolled over Hanoi Two 5-0.
