SOLO (29 May 2018) – The experiments might not have panned out as expected last night but notwithstanding the 3-0 defeat to Persis Solo, the head coach of the Indonesian national U19 team Indra Sjafri felt that the team need to keep moving forward.
The Indonesian U19 team fell to a 17th minute strike from Tri Handoko, an own goal from Nur Hidayat in the 83rd minute and then Johan Yoga right at the end.
“The game was what we expected – full of pressure from the opposing team as well as from the fans,” said Indra.
“I was not looking at the results. I was looking at how the team behaved after I left them for the last four months. Certainly, there’s a lot of work and we need to keep on pushing forward.”
The Indonesia U19 team will play PSS Sleman next week.
