HANOI (25 Jan 2016) – The Vietnam Professional Football Company (VPF) have signed with Sportradar in an effort to make sure that the national top league, the V.League is free from match-fixing for the 2016 season.
VPF is the body administering professional football in Vietnam and this includes the top flight V.League as well as the First Division.
Sportradar is the world’s leading supplier of sports and betting-related live data, odds solutions and fraud detection services.
In 2014, Sportradar verified that Vietnamese players had competed fairly in their 4-2 loss to Malaysia in the semi-finals of the AFF Suzuki Cup.
Earlier, based upon their statistics, dozens of players of Vissai Ninh Binh and Dong Nai were banned for life because of match fixing.
