HANOI (7 August 2012) – Professional football in Vietnam is set to grown several folds in the next several years following the cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Professional Football (VPF) and the Japan Professional Football League (J-League) in Hanoi this week.
“The J-League will also help Vietnam exploit the commercial rights of the V-League and support VPF’s development and integration, especially as the private football management sector in Vietnam is still in its infancy,
said Vo Quoc Thang, the chairman of the VPF.
The VPF will be looking at improving their capacity for managing and organizing training courses in the fields of professional, medical care and marketing.
They will also work together to host friendly matches between the Vietnamese and Japanese football clubs and training courses for their young players involved in J-League and V-League competitions.
