PHNOM PENH (17 Oct 2009) – Suong Virak scored a personal best when he blasted four goals to propel Dai Ek Kadde to a devastating 13-2 win over Tuol Sangker All Star in the FFC Hello Futsal League 2009.
The win has allowed Dai Ek Kadde to pick up their first three points of the competition as they moved up to fifth at the table in the eight-team league. Virak scored his first goal of the game in the 15th minute before rounding the remainder with strikes in the 24th, 33rd and 38th minute. The other goal scorers for Dai Ek Kadde – who had conceded a humiliating 14-6 defeat to league leaders Khmer Super Red in their first game of the league – were Meas Phana (23rd and 36th minute), Klim Chareatrei (27th and 40th), Tep Sovanpisith (32nd and 36th), Mao Narann (11th), Ning Sophas (7th) and Sarom Ponavat (27th). Tuol Sangker’s two goals were scored by Meas Sophana in the 32nd minute and Ning Kimhien in the 35th minute. In the meantime, Olympic Youth went up to second at the standings with their second win of the competition – this time with 4-1 victory over Funan FC. Olympic Youth’s opening win was against Panda FC with a romping 16-8 score line. Against Funan FC, a double from Tep Vanaro (14th and 25th minute) put Olympic Youth well on the way to the full points as Ny Zangtin and Ouk Serei Ratanak then added the remainder with goals in the 30th and 38th minute respectively. Panda FC scored a late consolation goal from Nao Romchuol in the very last minute of play.
