HANOI (15 Sept 2015) – The Vietnam women’s Futsal team is aiming for a place in the semi-finals of the Asian Football Confederation Women’s Futsal Championships 2015 which kicks off in Malaysia on 21-26 September.
Vietnam have been drawn in a tough Group B against Japan, China and ASEAN powerhouse Thailand.
Group A are Iran, Malaysia, Uzbekistan and Hong Kong.
“It is a challenge for Vietnam in a tournament where they meet strong rivals including Japan and Thailand. However, the team will aim to reach the semi-finals,” said Vietnam head coach Truong Quoc Tuan.
“The team has completed their tactical preparation for the tournament. Their physical strength is improved. All players worked on a disciplined and united formation.”
