HANOI (26 Feb 2014) – The Vietnam Under-19 team will head to the United Kingdom, Belgium and Japan as part of their preparation for the AFC U19 Championship in October this year.
The trip which will see the team being based abroad for over two months will be sponsored by Vietnam corporate giant Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL).
In the UK, the team will train at the Colney Centre, where they will also play friendly matches against the 19 teams of Arsenal, Fullham and Tottenham.
Following training and matches in Belgium and Japan, the team will then take part in the AFF U19 Championships in Hanoi in September before their participation in the AFC meet a month later.
