HANOI (11 Nov 2014) – Hosts Vietnam did not get the inspiration they were hoping for at home when they fell to a 3-1 loss to Palestine in a friendly at the My Dinh National Stadium.
Abdelhamid Abuhabib opened account in the 55th minute before Ramzi Saleh doubled the advantage with a superb volley fifteen minutes later. Mahmoud Eid then scored the third goal for the visitors seven minutes to the end.
Nguyen Van Quyet pulled a goal back for Vietnam with seconds remaining.
Vietnam’s next friendly match will be against Malaysia.
