HANOI (17 March, 2008) – Henrique Calisto, the current head coach of V-League’s Dong Tam Long An, has been short listed as a possible candidate as the new coach of the Vietnam national team.
The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) have been on the hunt for a new national coach following the exit of Alfred Riedl after the SEA Games 2007. And Portuguese Calisto has been singled out as having the lead over the rest of the 10 possible candidates. Apart from having been in Vietnam for several years as the head coach of Dong Tam Long An, Calisto was also the national coach of Vietnam in 2002. |
