VIETNAM EDGE MALAYSIA TO WIN U13 CROWN

Represented by the SHB Da Nang team, Vietnam were already 3-0 in front at the break with goals in the 16th, 21st, 40th minute before adding the winning touch at the hour mark.

In the meantime, Thailand finished third after beating Vietnam 2 with a scoreline of 3-1 in the other match.

The three-day championship was jointly organised by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, Japan’s Yamaha Motor Corporation and the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Apart from hosts Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand, the other teams taking were Indonesia and Singapore.
