VIETNAM COAL AND MINERAL STILL ON TOP

HANOI (July 15, 2007) – A brace from Le Thi Hien and another from Le Thi Thuong gave Vietnam Coal and Mineral not only the three points over Thai Nguyen but also the top spot in the Vietnam’s Women National Championship.

The win over basement side Thai Nguyen made sure that the Vietnam Coal and Mineral are still undefeated after four matches in the women’s national competition.

Hanoi on the other hand kept up the pressure on the leaders to maintain their second place at the table following their 2-0 win over Ha Nam.

The Northerners made sure of the points with goals coming off Tu Thi Phum who struck twice within the space of three minutes (85th and 87th minutes) for the well-deserved victory.
