VFF SIGN WITH NIKE FOR FIVE YEARS

The agreement which is to begin this year will see Nike providing high quality apparels for the men and women national teams, the national futsal team, national junior teams and their coaches.

The national football squad will be also equipped with sport equipment during training and competition.

Le Hung Dung, the VFF Vice President said that he hoped with the cooperation with Nike, it would lift Vietnamese football to even greater heights – an obvious reference to their win of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 last month.

With the official signing, Vietnam join Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore as countries in Asean which are being sponsored by the sporting giant.
