HANOI (5 Jan 2014) – In spite of the current economic turmoil that is plaguing the country, Vietnam can still offer the winner of the V-League 2014 a tidy sum of USD 190,000 (VND4 billion) in prize money.
This was announced by the Vietnam Professional Football Company – the body that is tasked with running the top tier V-League and also the lower First Division.
The second and third-placed teams at the end of the V-League 2014 season will take VND2 billion (USD 95,000) and VND1 billion (USD 47,500) respectively.
