VIENTIANE (21 Jan 2013) – The Lao League 2013 will see 12 teams taking part – an increase of two teams from the previous edition last year that was won by Lao Police Club.
Following the relegation of Eastern Star FC at the end of last season, three teams have been given the chance to the top flight and they are Champasak FC, Hoang Anh Attapeu FC and Savannakhet FC.
The biggest stadium will be the new Laos National Stadium at 16KM with a capacity of 25,000 while the Lao-American College FC Stadium is the smallest that can accommodate only 1,500 spectators.
