PHNOM PENH (17 July 2008) – A late brace from A. Tunjiayoyinka gave Khemara Keila FC a hard fought 2-0 win over Preah Khan Reach FC in the Cambodia Premier League at the National Olympic Stadium.
Preah Khan put up quite a resistant in the first half to be scoreless but there was just no stopping Khemara from winning the full points when Tunjiayoyinka scored twice (88th and 89th minute) within the space of just two minutes late in the game. The win has allowed Khemara to stay on third with 15 points while Preah Khan are on fifth with 14 points. In the meantime, Naga Corp FC stumbled to a 2-1 loss to Kirivong Sok Sen Chey FC to remain in mid-table. Despite taking a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute off Chego Ikiapi, Naga failed to stop Kirivong from stealing the three points with goals off Him Salam in the 36th minute and another from C. H.
