HANOI (2 Jan 2015) – Japanese automobile giant Toyota has come on board as the title sponsor of the V-League for the 2015 season.
Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) and the Vietnam Professional Football Company (VPF) signed a one-year contract to sponsor the V-League which begins on Sunday, 4 Jan 2015.
“With the support of Toyota Motor Vietnam, VPF and the organising board, we will try our best to contribute to the season with the spirit of fair play, high quality and competitiveness,” said VPF General Director Pham Ngoc Vien.
Added Yoshihisa Maruta, TMV President: “Toyota has been working in Vietnam for nearly 20 years. We believe that as the main sponsor, Toyota will lend a helping hand to push the national football team to a higher level.”
The V-League was previously sponsored by Vietnam’s Eximbank.
