BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (1 July 2015) – Defending champions Indera Sports Club (SC) will have some tough matches ahead as they look to close in on DST Super League leaders Najip I-Team.
Indera are currently second at the table with 15 points – three points behind Najip I-Team. Third are MS ABDB with 15 points.
But Najip have played the full nine matches in the first round of the league while Indera and MS ABDB have played only five games.
“So far, we have managed to win all the five games but we have yet to complete the first round,” said Indera’s manager Rosdin Abdul Aziz.
“We still need to meet strong teams like MS ABDB, Jerudong, Wijaya and Lun Bawang.
“I said before the tournament that we are aiming to defend the title again this year, but every team in the league are getting stronger, so we need to really focus on one game at a time.”
Indera’s next match will be against Jerudong FC.
