Ange Postecoglou’s side will take on the likes of Wayne Rooney, Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on May 28 (Australian time) ahead of the Three Lions’ appearance at the European Championships in France.
It will be the first time the two nations have meet since Australia’s famous 3-1 win over David Beckham and Co. at Upton Park in 2003.
Can the Aussies do it again this time around?
Tickets can be purchased next Thursday evening, April 7 (AEDT) at ticketingcontent.thefa.com
There is a special section reserved for away supporters, with tickets starting from as low as £25 ($47AUD).
The clash will be the first of a big couple of weeks for the Socceroos, who will return to Australia after the game with England for two friendlies with Greece in Sydney and Melbourne.
After Tuesday’s night’s comfortable 5-1 win over Jordan, the Socceroos are through to the next stage of FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifying which begins in September.
These high profile games will be seen as vital preparation for the start of those qualifiers.
