THUMPING WIN FOR PHNOM PENHNOIRS

Hat-tricks from Ouk Serei Ratanak (1st, 12th and 15th minute), Be Putsothjea (8th, 21st and 35th) and Nao Roumduol (7th, 15th and 33rd) set the pace for Phnom Penhnoirs as Buot Sotjhy (25th and 37th) and Lon Chamrouen (20th and 38th) then added a brace each.

Two further goals from Oum Chanphearak in the 12th minute and then Chea Sopheakmakara in the 25th minute were enough to finish things off for Phnom Penhnoirs.

American InterContinental University’s goals were scored by Sim Bunthay in the eighth minute, Sim Bunthol (16th) and Mao Tola (16th).

In the meantime, Home Sports FC scored a 7-4 victory over Khmer Super Red to make the cut for the quarter-finals.

It was Khmer Super Red’s first defeat of the season.

Home Sports FC began strongly with Man Vitavan in the second minute before Khmer Super Red replied in the 13th minute through Meastit Pheakdei.

But a flurry of goals from Moul Ra’s two goals in the 14th minute and then Tit Dana in the 18th minute gave Home Sports the confidence for the remainder of the match.

Oum Diman (32nd minute), Man Vitana (34th) and Tit Dana (35th) then scored the remainder of the goals to ensure the win for Home Sports even though Khmer Super Reds did try to stage a comeback with goals from Tep Sovanpisith (16th), Vong Raksa (18th), Liv Sophant (39th).
