PETALING JAYA (13 May 2018) – It will be a three-way battle for the top post in the FA of Malaysia (FAM) where it is down to between Dato’ Hamidin Mohd Amin, Dato’ Seri Abdul Azim Mohd Zabidi and Tan Sri Annuar Musa.
Hamidin (main pix) is the current general secretary of the FAM, while Azim is the chairman of the Malaysian National Sports Institute (ISN) and Annuar is the former President of the Kelantan FA (KAFA).
The three names were nominated by FAM affiliates recently and where the candidates will now have until 14 June 2018 to confirm their acceptance.
The election Congress for the FAM will be held on 14 July 2018.
The position of FAM President was left vacant following the resignation of Mejar Jeneral Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim in March this year.
