BACOLOD CITY (6 Oct 2013) – The Philippines Peace Cup will be held next week in Bacolod City with three teams taking part in the meet slated for 11-15 October.
Other than hosts Philippines, the other two teams taking part are Chinese Taipei and Pakistan who will do battle at the Panaad Stadium.
The organisers had little choice but to reduce the field to just three teams following the withdrawals of African sides Rwanda and Uganda.
“We see this as a chance for the team to be together again,” said Philippines team manager Dan Palami.
The Philippines Peace Cup is being held to coincide with Bacolod City’s Masskara Festival celebration.
