HANOI (30 April 2013) – The VFF (Vietnam Football Federation) have shortlisted three candidates for their presidential election scheduled for 5 June at their 7th Congress.
The three candidates are Le Khanh Hai, the Vietnam Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Pham Van Tuan vice head of VFF and Le Hung Dung, the VFF Vice Chairman of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training.
But it has been pointed out that the list might be further scratched to just two candidates considering that there are two personnel from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST).
“The nominee names are often decided 30 days before the VFF congress start. But we respect the opinions of the clubs and members,” said Vuong Bich Thang, the head of the General Department of Sporting and Physical Training.
