BANGKOK (12 Jan 2010) – Thailand will take on South Korean club side Hyundai Ulsan tomorrow at the Rajamangala Stadium in preparation for the King’s Cup next week.
The King’s Cup this year will be played out on 17-23 January 2010, in Nakhon Ratchasima province and where other than the hosts, the other teams taking part are defending champions Denmark, Singapore and Poland. Thailand coach Bryan Robson indicated that there will be no foreign-based players or new faces in the squad where most of them will come from the Asian Cup side. He indicated that those players who have their names down for Saturday’s Chula-Thammasat match, including striker Teerathep Winothai, will not be released as the King’s Cup kicks off the next day. Thailand will open their campaign against Singapore on Sunday at the the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Stadium. |
