BANGKOK (24 March 2015) – ASEAN champions Thailand will take on Singapore and Cameroon as part of the team’s preparation for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers in June.
The Thais will take on Singapore this Thursday – 26 March – at the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Stadium in Nakhon Ratchasima before playing Cameroon on 30 March at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok.
For the two games, head coach Kiatisak Senamuang has decide to appoint Theerathon Bunmathan as captain.
“There are several players who are suitable to lead the national team such as Teerasil Dangda, Kawin Thamsatchanan and Jakkraphan Pornsai,” said Kiatisak.
“But after talks with my staff, we have decided to appoint Theerathon as captain (for the two friendlies) but we may change this in the future.”
