Thailand Take on Myanmar in BIDC Cup Final

PHNOM PENH (9 Nov 2013) – Thailand will take on Myanmar in the final of the BIDC Cup tomorrow that will be played at the National Olympic Stadium.

The Thais edged hosts Cambodia 2-1 after extra time while Myanmar beat Malaysia 1-0.

Anon Sanmad gave Thailand the winner after 112^th minute after the score was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation. Jirawat Saranan’s 75^th minute strike was cancelled out by Cambodia’s Rous Samouen’s equaliser five minutes to the end.

In the other semi-final, Myanmar had Shine Thura’s 20^th minute strike to thank when they beat Malaysia 1-0 to book their place in this year’s final.
