THAILAND IN LION CITY CUP FINAL

SINGAPORE (14 March, 2008) – Asean powerhouse Thailand are in the final of the Lion City Cup in Singapore after beating Vietnam 3-1 in their last group match at the Singapore Sports School.

The Thais – the champions of Group B – will take on the winner of Group A, the United Arab Emirates who topped the group after their 2-1 win over Chinese Taipei at the Jalan Besar Stadium.

Both teams made the final after winning all their matches in the group.
