BANGKOK (7 Nov 2008) – The Thailand national team received a boost ahead of their preparation for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 when the FA of Thailand (FAT) signed a BHAT75 million deal with Thailand’s PTT.
PTT is a state-owned oil and gas company and the deal with the Thai football body is worth around USD 2.14million over three years. The Thailand national team, who will be playing a friendly against Saudi Arabia on Saturday in Riyadh, are preparing for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 where they have been placed in Group B which is based in Bangkok. The other teams in the group are Malaysia, Vietnam and Laos. Group A are hosts Indonesia, Singapore, Myanmar and Cambodia. In the meantime, the FAT have announced ticket prices for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2008 which will be played at the Rajamangala Stadium. Ong-arj Kosinkar, the secretary general of the FAT, said tickets would be on sale for BHAT100, BHAT200, BHAT300 and BHAT500. PIC: Datsakorn Thonglao |
