KUALA LUMPUR (23 Oct 2011) – Malaysia FA Cup champions Terengganu will take on Negeri Sembilan in their first Malaysia Cup final in 90 years.
This follows the end of the semi-final stage of the Malaysia Cup last night when Terengganu beat Selangor 2-1 at the Sultan Ismail Stadium in Kuala Terengganu for a 4-1 aggregate win.
While for Negri Sembilan, they confirmed their place with a 2-1 victory over T-Team at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium for them to advance 6-3 on aggregate.
Terengganu last won the Malaysia Cup in 2001 while Negeri made it their third consecutive final appearance.
