PHNOM PENH (4 Sept 2010) – Newly-appointed Cambodia chief coach Lee Tae-Hoon has named a squad of 25 players which will be following training in Vietnam – ahead of the qualifying round of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 in October.
The centralised training camp will be held in Hong Anh Gia Lai province and will last for 45 days. The Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) had earlier compiled a list of 37 players at the end of the regular Metfone Cambodia League 2010 season but after a four-day training session with Tae-Hoon, the number of players for the Vietnam tour was trimmed to 25. After the tour in Vietnam, five more players will be dropped before the team’s departure to Laos for the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 qualifiers on 22-26 October 2010.
