JAKARTA (8 May 2012) – Bob Hippy, the Indonesian national team coordinator, said that the team still has some way to go yet in spite of their recent 8-0 thrashing PPSM Magelang.
The team which is being prepared for the SEA Games in 2013 in Myanmar, is currently undergoing centralised training camp.
“There are several players who have shown quality. They are competitive and they played with a lot of confidence,” added Bob. “We are quite confident with the set of players that we have. And this considering that we have yet to hold trials for new players.”
Among the new young players to watch out for in the young Indonesian squad are Yosua Pahabol (from Semen Padang) and Hendra Bayau (Persija IPL).
