PHNOM PENH (14 March 2016) – It is all square between former champions Nagaworld and the Ministry of National Defence when they were held to a 1-1 draw in the Metfone C-League tie at the Olympic Stadium this week.
Following a goalless first half, the match finally came to life when DPR Korean striker Choe Myong-ho made a fine finish just before the hour.
But it did not take Naga too long to reply when Kipson nodded home a corner for the well earned equaliser.
Elsewhere, Preah Khan Reach blasted Electricite du Cambodge 3-0 at the Svay Rieng Stadium while defending champions Boeung Ket were held to a 3-3 draw by Western Phnom Penh.
Phnom Penh Crown had little trouble playing at home at the RSN Stadium when they beat Kirivong Sok Sen Chey 6-1 as National Police and CMAC United drew 1-1.
