PETALINGA JAYA (20 Dec 2020) – Spectator will be allowed back to the Malaysian League from 1 January 2021 subject to certain conditions.
This was announced by Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, the Malaysian Senior Minister for Security this week.
However, he stressed that this allowance would depend on the movement control order in the areas concerned and where there will also be other guidelines that must be adhered to.
Sports competitions in Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) will be allowed with a maximum of 4,000 spectators or 10% of the stadium capacity, whichever is lower.
However, no spectators will be allowed for those states still under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
The Malaysian Super League will start on 26 February 2021.
