PETALING JAYA (29 August 2012) – ARMED FORCES came close to creating an upset but were denied when centreback Obinna Nwaweri scored late into the match to earn Kelantan a point.
The match at the Selayang Stadium ended 1-1 amid an explosive atmosphere as play got suspended twice because of unruly crowd behaviour.
Armed Forces still sit atop Group B with seven points with Kelantan on four and Terengganu and Kedah on three. The other Group B match ended in a 2-1 win for Kedah.
