BANGKOK (19 June 2017) – The Singapore Under-20 team will take on Chulalongkorn University tonight as part of their training programme in Bangkok, Thailand.
A total of three friendly matches have been planned in Bangkok until the team’s departure on 23 June 2017.
“We are grateful for the support of FAS and the clubs for the U20 National Team. As we called up players from Prime League teams, the postponement of their matches is welcome news for us,” said head coach Fandi Ahmad.
“Ours is a long-term project and such training camps are important for the development of the team to gain international match experience. We believe that this exposure will improve the players, and in turn benefit the clubs as well. We hope to continue to work closely with the clubs in the development of these young players.”
Other than Chulalongkorn University, the Singapore U20 side will also play Port FC tomorrow night and then Bangkok United FC on 22 June 2017.
