SINGAPORE (August 18, 2007) – The FA of Singapore (FAS) have named an 18-man squad to take part in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-17 Championship which will begin in Phnom Penh, Cambodia this Sunday.
Following the withdrawal of Timor Leste from Group B, the Singapore side will open their campaign against defending champions Vietnam on August 20. They will then follow that up with a match against Myanmar on August 22 before completing their group matches against Laos two days later. On the other hand, Group A has hosts Cambodia up against Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. All matches will be played at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh.
