PHNOM PENH (11 April 2017) – Leaders Phnom Penh Crown suffered a shock loss at home when they fell to 3-1 defeat at the hands of struggling Western Phnom Penh in the Metfone C-League tie at the RSN Stadium.
Despite trailing by a goal as early as the ninth minute from Chhom Pisa, Western fought back off goals from Michael Abiodun, Run Rany and Mathew Osa.
Elsewhere, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng blasted CMAC United 7-0 at the Old Stadium as Boeung Ket Angkor strolled to a convincing 4-0 win over Electricite du Cambodge at the Olympic Stadium.
Ministry of National Defence were also on the winning trail as they beat lowly Kirivong Sok Sen Chey 2-0 in Takeo.
NagaWorld beat Asia Euro United 4-0.
