VIENTIANE (18 May 2015) – A close 1-0 win over Idsea Champasak United ensured SHB Vientiane stay top in the Lao Premier League for yet another week as they opened up a three point lead.
The solitary strike from Xuan Nam in the 82nd minute of play to ensure SHB Vientiane the full points as their picked up their fifth win from eight matches played.
The win allowed SHB Vientiane to stay top with 17 points – three ahead of second-placed Lanexang United.
In the only other match this week, EDL FC were held to a 1-1 draw by Eastern Star FC.
EDL FC’s goal was scored by Burnel Okan but which was cancelled out by Eastern’s Oguwike Emelka.
