BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (16 April 2009) – Shahrazen Said was glad his DPMM FC side are back on top of the S-League – this in spite of their 2-2 draw against Albirex Niigata FC on the road last night.
The Brunei international scored the first goal for DPMM FC in the 41st to cancel out the Albirex’s lead which was carved out by Kenji Adachihara in the 10th minute. But after following behind for the second time through Kunihiro Honda just five minutes into the second half, Shahrazen set up strike mate Abdel Hamid Berguiga from Nigeria to slam home the equalizer on 65th minute of play. “It was a great result for us and I am happy to have scored a goal and created another,” said Shahrazen (pic) after the match. “We want to maintain this position and we know we will have to work hard for it. We know that we face a tough fight from SAF FC who can reclaim the lead on Friday since they are playing Super Reds FC.” DPMM’s next match is on 26 April against SAFFC at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium. |
