SEVEN-GOAL OIBOH LEADS NAGA CORP TO THUMPING WIN OVER RITHISEN

PHNOM PENH (9 Aug 2011) – A seven-goal thriller from striker Oiboh Julius led former champions Naga Corp FC to a thumping 11-1 win over strugglers Rithisen in the Metfone Cambodia League this week.

Oiboh was on target in the 13^th, 34^th, 42^nd, 55^th, 57^th, 80^th and 90^th minute as Teab Vatanak (20^th), Om Thavrak (67^th), Kob Sa (76^th) and Esoh Omogba (77^th) scored the other goals for the win.

Rithisen’s only goal came in the Oum Veasna in the 11^th minute.

But the win failed to push Naga to the top of the standings as current league leaders and defending champions Phnom Penh Crown FC were also on a winning streak when they edged National Police 2-0.

Sun Sovannrithy opened the scoring for Phnom Penh in the tenth minute before Takahito Ota added the second in the 23^rd minute of play.

In the other matches, National Defense Ministry FC beat Chhlam Samut 5-1 as Preah Khan Reach FC overcame Prek Prea Keila FC 1-0.

Kiriving Sok Sen Chey FC strengthened their position in the top half of the table with a slim 2-1 victory over Build Bright United
